Is Reincarnation a Reality?
I felt I knew my husband when we met. On occasion I’ve met others who I know, they say the same. So for me there is no doubt that reincarnation is a reality. If you look at spirit as the reality of who we are then clearly when we pass over (die) we travel on. There are so many stories worldwide of people expressing the experience of being met when they die, usually by realitives or guides. I did conduct some near death research many years ago and I was told a range of experiences. Some said they heard voices as they were dying, a voice telling one male that he had to go back. Another who was dying in surgery told me she floated above her body and felt no connection to it, she said there were colours and she was happy to go on. Another told me he was met by relatives. An Irish lady told me she went down what she termed was a barrel, she saw a little boy who had died and had met at Lourdes in France. The little boy was very sick at the time they met, but he became close to her and apparently later sent his fathers medals to her. When she travelled down the barrel as she described it she saw his face and he reassured her, he told her he loved her. She said there was a light at the end which was overwhelming in terms of the feeling of love. She said to me it is not like love in this life, it is indescribable. I met another, who worked for me as an interviewer, she went out of her body and thought it was normal when young. She realised that people didn’t do it readily. She said she met her husband and were happily married for 21 years. When he died of cancer he came back to see her. As she could leave her body they travelled together and saw their son in another country. She told me that she was able to move back and forward in time. It was very interesting. There are some channelled messages from Robin Williams which I found interesting, apparently he realised that he hadn’t felt love in this life and considered the world a hard place. On the other side he has discovered the reality. However, it takes time for people to adjust to the new reality and learn from their life experiences. Yet the thoughts come to my mind that our happy destiny is unavoidable. Does that change the way we live and treat each other, I think so. That is why I love people, I know they are playing their part.
In the realm of mystery, at the end of the day you cannot apply scientific validation to give it credibility. You can either listen to stories and see the truth, there are some ways to validate. For example Bridey Murphy’s story convinced me as an American woman she was able to describe her life in Ireland, she had never been there, yet went there are validated the facts. So imagine how that changes your life when you realise that you are living more than one life. It may change the way you treat yourself and others in this present life. When I did the near death research and looked into Raymond Moody’s work what I discovered is that our purpose is to love each other. That for me feels the purpose.
