Our World Will Change for the Better

I felt inspired to post this song again.  Many watch the media and believe the world is falling to pack.  It is simply that those things hidden are coming to light now.  As things come to light they can be faced and dealt with.  Fear is the greatest enemy to humanity, it doesn’t reside in any human.  It is how we choose to see people, events, situations and anything that we may judge or accept.  I am learning in my life that I create my own experience and that I choose indeed what I see.  Think about if you are having a bad day, suddenly you see people in a hostile way and you are not friendly.  Imagine you just won the Lottery and you felt top of the world, will you grumble at people or kiss, hug and love them.  Drinks all round I can hear.  So our inner environment shapes what we see.  Imagine if you could look without judgement at what is?  Imagine you could look clearly without a story, I wonder what you would see.  I am thinking here of a story from What the Bleep Do We Know – where apparently Christopher Columbus was landing in the Americas.  The Indians were unable to see him as they had never seen a ship before, it was outside of their point of reference.  Apparently the story states that a medicine man then looked and saw ripples in the water, eventually the ships came into view.  This does not surprise me as a market analyst I remember learning of a billboard in Indonesia that apparently was advertising in beige.  When market research was done no-one recalled the billboard.  It turns out they couldn’t see that type of colour.  The brain just couldn’t see it.  I find that interesting.  It makes me wonder if we believe then do we see or do we see to believe.  Conventionally we see then believe in what we touch and feel, what if we were to believe in what we didn’t see would it become visible.  As a poet I find myself seeing into what isn’t seen.  I sit there and the words come to me and I make my own discoveries, like Christopher Columbus, I find an awareness around thinking and seeing differently.  It is really fascinating to write poetry through inspiration and just let it come.  The poetry creates itself is the way I experience it, I just write it.  I love that I blend with the intelligence of life.  We have all been trained in ways of logically thinking , as business is the dominant paradigm we live in a professional language and logic that cannot see anything outside the paradigm.  So many unquestioned beliefs that don’t lead us out of our own quagmires.  For me I have found answers outside of the box and felt a happiness descend on me that never leaves.  I cannot imagine myself unhappy as a life choice.  It feels permanent now.  It is because I flow with life and I focus on my own state of being, I choose peace and I find happiness naturally flows.  Therefore I am making peace where I am and with the world itself.  I am not into hating or dividing against anything or anyone as I see the world as part of me now.  Infact I see all as one like one energy system.  It is like an invisible energy that just connects all to each other.  So what I do to another I do to myself is the feeling I have.  So I treat everyone as I want to be treated, I choose to not believe the media unless it is in my own experience.  I accept it is a viewpoint. My training as an analyst has given me the tools to look at things objectively as society constructs it but I do not believe it as gospel truth.  As an analyst I used to poll people and find out what they thought, say 500 people.  I found when I analysed the results there was always common sense from people (medium data, middle).  As a conflict resolver I know there is always two sides and it is always a perceived truth.  The absolute truth cannot be know as we don’t have all the data (100%) we only see fragments of what is true.  So with that in mind most of what we learn is likely to be untrue.  So if I choose to follow my intuition it leads me to my emotions as the real emotional intelligence.  If I am in balance and I feel my way through this life with my eyes closed and my heart open I find a different reality emerging.  I feel that life is good.  I often look for the good in difficult situations –  what is learned? what did I gain? what emotions did it bring up? how did I attract the situation? what were my thoughts? Is it true what I believe? and so on (see www.thework.com).  I try not to resist life at all, as I seek to be in harmony with what is, rather than control it.  As I let go of control I find myself flowing in a way that is harmonious and it feels so joyful.  I fight nothing.  I realise what I resist persists.  So if we want to change our world for the better it is wise to start with ourselves.  How are we negative?  in what ways do we teach love by example?  Am I adding to the positive peace picture or joining in the misery.  For me my life is dedicated to peace but I am not fighting the military.  In fact I had a conversation today about helping veterans who are suffering, I met one (as a clown) that told me to my face he killed a child.  I could see the pain in his face. I reached out to him, I felt compassion and that I need to share what I know with them.  I felt to bring peace to them not force them to change their ways, that is not my job it is theirs to decide what serves them.  My work is to simply live the peace I believe in, all get to choose their life.  Sometimes out of great difficulty great good arises, so I can not be the judge of what is good or bad, I can only choose love, which is my preference, as it feels good.  Non judgement is the highest love.

I feel a new world emerging that is about changing old paradigms into new ways where love is the norm.  It is like coming out of dark cave into the light or a chrysalis emerging from a cocoon into the butterfly. One landed on my book today. I feel the change in the air.  Richard Branson (Virgin Galactic) is talking about civilian flights in space I think that is a good idea for them to see their world from a distance and really feel the profundity of our world, another perspective.  We are privileged to live on this world, let’s take care of it and each other.  Another life is possible.
