Is the World a Negative Place or a Positive Place?

I don’t have a television but was at a friend’s place and watched Q&A last night.  I saw the negativity around the issues of terrorism and government laws that are perceived to restrict journalists free speech.

I spoke to my friend and I asked how do you feel when we speak of these things.  Of course my friends were stirred up and felt concern.  I made the point that we live in a big world and that issues become a focus and then we believe that this is the world.

The world I live in is peaceful.  I am mindful what I put into my mind. I have done the research of world issues over years but nowdays I am focusing on what promotes the good, what makes me feel positive and what empowers.  So it is only wise to turn off the television as I choose not to give it energy.

I have spent my life focusing on the positive and what I found is that I live in an incredible world full of potential.  I have met mostly kind people.  Those not kind I see as unhappy.  I seek to bring some light to them as well.  Those who can be difficult are my greatest teachers for always what I experience within myself is my own.  No-one can take my power unless I give it, no-one can make me unhappy unless on some level I believe what they say.  I don’t just believe in the goodness of humanity I see it.  Having clowned in 20 countries I’ve met more people than most people ever do.  I have connected, laughed, shared stories and hugged complete strangers.  All I can say to you, is that the world is a reflection of yourself.  If there is something you don’t like look within, that is where real power exists and where you can make a change.

As I work on inner peace I see more and more of what I love and feel the joy rising within.  It is truly wonderful to live like this.  I believe disputes can be resolved when there is a willingness and all violence is a call for help. I am beginning to see the abuse is coming from extreme pain and inflicting more pain through violence does not stop violence, it inflames it.  So now I seek to understand first and then provide tools on how to understand the way life works and how one can change themselves.  I am so glad I spent the time working on peace, it has served me well and ow I see what is true.  Your happy destiny is unavoidable.

Life is a miracle, I have seen it in my experience for so many years now, it is not wishful thinking.  I know miracles are the outcome of what you know in truth, not what you believe.  Interesting juxtaposition.  Here is a wonderful duet of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston.  A beautiful song.  You are the miracle.  Do you truly know that?  Think about the chances of you being here.  Life is incredible.  I can’t put into words what I truly feel here.  You will have to find it yourself.

The answer to the above:  Of course it is a positive place when you choose to see with the eyes of love.  This is not rose coloured it is a space of peace where you see through the negative and find the light within.  It is to look for the good, all ways.  It is a state of mind that will indeed change your world.

“Gentleness, self-sacrifice and generosity are the exclusive possession of no one race or religion.”
