Inspire to Be The Change YOU Wish to See in the World

This is another video that was sent to me and speaks to me. It has inspired me for sure.

I have lived my life ‘being the change’ and it has been a big sacrifice on the one hand as I live from house to house and I am putting out there adhoc projects to teach nonviolence. Yet on the other hand it has been the most exciting edge that I live on. I never know where I am from week to week and never am I bored. I have this vision that burns within me like the most incandescent candle. It is always there and I have not been able to take full time work as I feel REAL HOPE for humanity. Such is my love for others. You don’t need material things or money to make you happy. I’ve lived with less than my society. Sometimes when I walk around suburbs I am amazed at how big the houses are. I am so glad I never bought a house. These are just bricks and mortar. I understand people want a stable place for children to grow up, and I agree with that. But we put all our working life into paying off these houses which are not living and breathing. So many resources going into bricks and mortar and certainly the housing prices do not reflect the actual cost of the buildings, they are highly inflated and as a result people become caught in the debt trap.

I am fortunate as I didn’t go that path. I may not rent or own a house but always life supports me and I am constantly astonished.

So be the change you wish to see in your world. If there is something you don’t like be the example of what you do want, but do not engage in the fight. It wastes energy. Just illuminate rather than condemn. People will get it overtime as they see your light grow.

Gandhi was a great soul regardless of the few voices who are seeking to discredit his life of example. I have no doubt he was responsible for India reclaiming its dignity and having the courage to experiment with life and truth. He saw god as truth and truth as god. He laid his life open to critique and great love. Always you will attract both, there will always be people who see you in a different light and this is the nature of diversity and projection. All you can be is you.

Enjoy you, you are truly great.

Thanks Tom for this one as well.
